Sports

Ryan and I learned a valuable parenting lesson this past week.  We offered a positive reward for a soccer goal...........Not Good.  It ended up in tears in the last quarter because she wanted her prize.  Whoops-we won't do that again.

The Unterbrink family came and visited us over spring break.  We had a great time at the Dallas Zoo and catching up and meeting new baby Ayres.

Mimi

Emery is so sweet when we go visit Mimi.  She will give her hugs and stay close by.  Addison is a little more hesitant as the environment and oxygen tubes scare her, but certainly is willing to go visit and show Mimi that we love her.

Build a Bear Workshop

I'm very behind on the blog, but we took the girls to Build a Bear workshop several weeks ago.  They both had a great time picking accessories and bathing their new stuffed friends.

Biscuit

Poor sweet Biscuit got attacked by Turtle a couple weeks ago.  They both are dominant dogs when it comes to bones and it was just too dangerous to keep them together although they seemed to love each other "most of the time."  With a heavy heart we found Biscuit a new home in Magnolia.  He is now very spoiled and lives with a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua Mix named Willy.  Addison and Emery were so sad to see him go to his new home, but we all know it is for the best.

Now that Biscuit is gone, Turtle is the new dress up doggy.  I can see in her eyes that she has regrets for her behavior :)

Emmys big girl bed

Last week we put Emery's big girl bed together.  We were hoping this would get her excited about sleeping in her own room at night.  When we put her up on the bed to take a picture she immediately jumped down for fear that we were putting her to bed :)

Swim lessons

Emery's swim lesson got moved in the lane next to Addisons this last week.  It was so cute watching Addison wave to her little sister.  We feel very grateful that they love each other so much

Pigtails and Crewcuts

The girls had a great time watching Frozen while getting their hair cuts last week.

Last weeks pictures

The Disney movie Frozen has definitely been a focus in the Webster home.  Addison and Emery both prefer princess Anna and love to dress up and run around the house singing Frozen songs.

Addison celebrated her 5th birthday party at Urban air trampoline park.  She had a great time and really enjoyed all of her friends and family making out to celebrate her!!!

Our families were in town for Addisons birthday party.  Me, Dad, Mom, Turtle, and Princess were able to sneak away to the hiking trails in Trophy Club for an hour.   Unfortunately, Austin had to stay home because he is still limping from the past trip to the trails.

Addison

Addison loving Biscuit and putting him through some puppy torture.  One would think by his pitiful face that he looks abused, but he honestly seems to like it.  He always comes around the kids and just about never runs away.

Tacky and Addison in the playplace

Tacky at the playplace with our friends Claire and Ericka

Addison had a project in the school this week.  She got to take home "Tacky" the penguin.  Tacky is a penguin that comes with a book.  It is her job to take good care of Tacky and make sure he enjoys his stay at our home.  It is my job to take pictures and build a collage of Tacky's events while he stayed in our home.  It was fun having Tacky, but we are glad to see him go to the next family.
