Addison had her 6 month check up today with her new pediatrician, Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown was very nice and gave Addison the OK to eat baby food twice a day. Addison is now above the 50% in BOTH weight and height. She currently weighs 16lbs 4oz (59%) and is 27 inches tall (63%)-who would have guessed this little lady was born a month early :)

The solid food thing has become such a mess.

Baby Girl hanging out in Camouflage.......a little something to make her dad proud. I still have hopes she prefers to "sight see" the animals rather than hunt them, but only time will tell.

Addison hanging out with her cousin Sarah and Aunt Sandra. Addison spends many of days hanging out with Sarah and checking out Sandra's belly :)

Testing out her first jar of Peas.......what a mess. It ended up in her hair, up her nose, in her ears, all over her fingers and chin........needless to say bath time followed shortly after.

You will never find Turtle far away from Addison. Although not sharing a bed yet, they are laying down for an afternoon nap :)

Hanging out on a Monday Night

Addison's first pony ride.....it appears both horse and rider are nervous :)

Night times when we are all together are treasured times around our house.

Family Time :)

Addison carried her little bumble bee around the pool for hours today. She seems to really enjoy a day out at the pool with the family :)

The drooly days of teething

Addison is now chewing on everything. She is working very diligently to get those teeth out from under her gums. She will put anything from bibs, towels, toys, and hands in her mouth. Yesterday she grabbed Ryan's hand and bit down on one of his fingers........this girl is on a mission :)

Addison hanging out in her favorite onesie. OK so it might be her mom's favorite onesie, but she doesn't seem to mind it too much either :) The days of this 0-3 month onesie fitting are numbered

Babysitting Shiner

A cute picture of the "dry" Shiner :o)

Shiner has stayed with us a couple times over the last few weeks and he has acquired a huge love for the pool. He frolics in the pool the way we hoped our dogs would and barks at his own splashes :) The funny thing about Shiner is that he only wants to swim when you are outside watching him. Sooooo every time you leave Shiner outside to let him swim, he ends up sitting near the back door wanting to come inside or awaiting spectators. Then you feel badly for Shiner..........so you go outside to dry him off with a towel planning on bringing him inside, BUT that is just about the time that Shiner decides he would like to go for another dive in the pool. It is a hilarious, yet frustrating never ending process. Ultimately Ryan and I learned when we want to bring Shiner inside from swimming, we have to put a leash on him during the drying process so he will stay out of the pool.

The coolest bouncie toy contraption that fisher price ever made......this thing is worth its weight in gold.
