Snake lady

Addison often makes laps around the house pushing her stroller, but last week she chose to decorate her ensable with a stuffed snake

Silly girl

Failed attempt at pictures in the bluebonnets

Pretty girl playing in the bluebonnets

Attempts at getting pictures of the girls in the bluebonnets did not go as smoothly as planned.

Cousins

At least Sarah gave us a smile. Our outdoorsy girl was not too fond of the itchy grass

At least they were both looking at us :)

Very busy these days

I think she is laughing at what she just did

We had decided to give Addison a drawer in the kitchen to put her stuff in. Tuper ware, a juicer, safe things, etc. She, with a tiny bit of time alone, decided to take her stuff out and put herself in the drawer. There is no such thing as running to the closet to get anything these days.....and if you do, what you find Addison doing when you return is generally nothing short of surprising

Austin showing off his new ear

Big stretch

This is the face you get when she is saying, "Mommy, I really want it" and it is generally the cell phone, remote control, or camera

Addison and Turtle playing in the shade

The wind was blowing, it was beautiful outside, and Addison and Turtle played under a shade tree while I did some yard work

Addison loves being outside

Watching her sister Turtle

Sweet face

Enjoying a beautiful day together

Playing in the airport

Addison is quiet the traveler. She has flown more in her first year of life than I had by the time I was in college. After our first very failed attempt at flying, we have together figured out to make a trip fun and easy. I think we would both actually prefer to fly over driving these days.

A sign that nap time is approaching. She will go from playing to laying her head down in seconds. Believe it or not, Addison stayed awake the whole flight (playing with the i phone that belonged to the man next to me........it had kid apps???), and she finally fell asleep on landing.........what are the odds?

Taking her stuffed animal for a walk around the airport. It is very important that your kid is good prior to getting on the plane as well. This is because if someone is going to successfully take you out, it would only benefit them prior to boarding :)

Trip to Houston

Addison and Aunt Amy hanging out at Aunt Amy's wedding shower

GG, Aunt Amy, and Addison. Addison is going to be a flower girl at her Aunt Amy's wedding. Aunt Amy bought her a flower girl shirt and gave Addison a good excuse to change out of her pretty dress for the rest of the shower

Addison playing with Summer on the patio of Alicia's. Every time we go to Houston, we have to be reminded on how bad Dallas Mexican food is :)

Sweet cousins

MaMa and Addison playing while we wait for table for dinner

Abbey has learned from Summer to give the kids their space. They tend to be too rough for a small creature like a cat. Good thing Addison lives with two very sturdy, and not too breakable dogs :)

The girls have started early at wanting the same toy.

1st Trip to the Zoo

Nestling down in the car with her new penguin after her first trip to the zoo. We didn't make it out of the parking lot prior to Addison falling asleep. She had a blast. Addison loves animals just like her parents.
Getting sleepy on the way back to the car. Addison was happy the whole day at the zoo, but she definitely slept well that night

Face to face with a komodo dragon, the world's heaviest living lizard

The fort worth zoo has an aviary. Georgia has all the great pictures and I will get them to you shortly, but you can purchase a stick covered in bird seed. All the birds know and they land on your stick to eat. Addison loves birds, but she wasn't to excited about sharing her stick :) Addison held her stick right against her chest so the bird's couldn't land on it. They then started landing on my head.........which of course was nothing short of exciting for all of us

Watching the birds

Tsabo is the big lion at the fort worth zoo. Addison roared with him several times

Checking out the reptile exhibit

This exhibit has exotic birds

Addison was interested in all of the animals

The greater flamingos

Enjoying the train ride

Hanging out with the Alligator

Addison loved the Merry Go Round. By the end of it, she had ridden 3 horses

Checking out a wart hog

Checking out the goats

It was a close one between the monkey's and the penguins, but I think this was Addison's favorite exhibit. The penguins gave her tons of attention and they are just so cute

Kangaroo

Turtle........I think I made a couple moms nervous when I took this picture :)

Who knows? I think this was as statue of the worlds largest ant hill or something

Baby Giraffes

Elephant

The hippos wouldn't come up out of the water. We all waited patiently and then decided we will check them out on our next visit to the zoo

Diane, Megan, Georgia, and Addison hanging out in front of the elephants

Ms Georgia and Addison going for a stroll. Addison was a huge fan of the wagon

Our first exhibit.....Baboons

Cool picture of Addison watching the gorilla

The monkeys kept running by Addison. She loved watching these guys
