A day in our PJs

Showing off her pumpkin

Addison didn't know what to think when she found Tsavo in her cradle

She loves this kitty

Addison likes to take the balls from the dogs, often she will tease them with it by putting it in her mouth and running around. We will have to stop this habit before kindergarten

2010 Pumpkin Patch

Our first trip to the pumpkin patch was with our playgroup. Addison got to ride on a hay ride and picked out a medium sized pumpkin and two baby pumpkins. The second trip we went in our Halloween costume and she picked out a BIG pumpkin and two baby pumpkins. I think we have enough pumpkins, we will likely not go for another trip to the pumpkin patch until next year.

Addison picked up this squash like item and said, "apple"

Playing in the pumpkin house

Addison learned to climb the bounce house slide herself. This is nice because I feel like Ryan and I might be a little old for this :)

Ready, set,
GO!!!!

I think we have a similar fake smile :]

The search for the perfect pumpkin

This was Addisons favorite pumpkin (kind of shaped like a pear)

Addison and Ryan picked out a BIG pumpkin

Addison really enjoyed the pumpkin patch this year.

Playdate with Sarah

Sarah checking out Tsavo.... don't know if you can tell by the picture, but he is currently trapped by two one year olds

Cute girls

Sarah loves the tea pot

Our dogs and kitty

Talk about distractions. Austin is starring at the cat....no surprise there and who knows what Turtle is looking at.

Best friends

Our new kitty, Tsavo. We named Tsavo after the lion at the Fort Worth Zoo. But soon discovered that Tsavo lions are generally maneless lions and are what the movie, The Ghost in the Darkness are after. The story is about the two lions that were maneaters back in 1898 while a bridge was being built in Tsavo Africa. Two lions killed off about 130 people in a period of 9 months during the building process of the bridge. We have no hopes that Tsavo will be a maneater, but we hope the name inspires him to be our snake eater :) Anyway, he is a cool cat and is strong enough to put up with Austin, Turtle, and Addison.

The pleasures of being an indoor kitty. This is definitely not his happy face

Tsavo hanging out with Addison. He just lays there and lets her brush his hair.

Our trip to Houston

Addison and I flew down to Houston while Ryan and Uncle Rusty went hunting on their new deer lease. After a very rocky flight home, we think we may be driving down in the future.

Checking out the elephants

Addison loves the zoo. There is not an animal that she does not get excited about. I think there were wart hogs in this exhibit as well as that big bird.
