Elena and Addison

Elena and Addison have a great time together while Meg and I are enjoying the time to catch up. They are moving back to their home town in Rivera. Meg says it is just an 8 hour drive- we are super sad and are going to miss calling up our buddies for a play date. We love you guys and are very glad you are getting to move back home, just so sad for our loss. I guess this means we will be making more road trips :)

6 month check up

Emmy had her 6 month check up today. She is weighing in at 16.28lbs (53%) and is 27 inches tall (87%). Don't let these cheeks fool you, she actually weighs less than her sister did at 6 months.

A wonderful trip to the Dallas Zoo

Addison was exhausted at the end of the day, and laid down in her wagon. Ryan and thought for sure we would make it passed the carousel w/o her knowing, but we can't really get anything passed Addison so of course she saw it and reminded us that we promised at the end of the day she could ride the carousel. So Addison and Ryan rode the carousel while Emmy and I watched.

The giraffe exhibit was awesome and they have a great deal on lettuce-3 pieces for $5.00-well worth it

We had such a great time at the Dallas zoo with Rusty, Sandra, Sarah, and Emily. There are a lot of great exhibits and great interactions with the animals. What a beautiful day with wonderful company-can't wait to do it again soon.

Big week for Emery

Emery has had a big week. She got her first two teeth-both on the bottom. Started sitting up without support, and said her first word-Mama :)

Earlier in the week, she had to sit with some support, now she is all on her own. My little baby is growing too fast, but we are excited for her

We have been quiet the gardeners this y ear, but made it out a day or two late to cut the broccoli. It had bloomed into beautiful bouquets.

Feb 27, 2012-Addison's 3rd birthday

Emmy came along for the ride

Addison wanted to walk to and ride the rock elephant for her birthday. So after school we walked to the front of trophy club to ride the "rock elephant." It has been beautiful weather in Dallas and we look for every excuse to be outside these days.
