Tsavo kitty

We lost our sweet Tsavo on Tuesday, Nov 19.  He was a great indoor/outdoor kitty that we found on the streets in Trophy Club ~4 years ago.  He loved resting in the house during the day, but always enjoyed hunting at night.  He was unfortunately hit by a car on Tuesday morning and was gone too quickly for us to save him.  He was a love and we will definitely miss him.  He was a stong kitty that absolutely kept the dogs in their place.  Miss you Tsabs.

Port Aransas

We went to Port Aransas this past month for a beach getaway with the Webster family.  We all had a great time, but the kids had a blast.  Addison and Emery stayed awake for virtually the entire drive to Port A (~7 hours), but boy did they sleep on the way home :)

Last soccer game and end of the year party

It was pretty cold for the last two soccer games this season.  Addison has come a long way.  She went from crying and unable to practice without me or Ryan to being excited about her games.  She has blocked several goals and gotten some good kicks, but we are still waiting on her first Goal!  Maybe next season.  She asked me advice on how to score a soccer goal and I did my best, but of course I can't actually ever remember scoring a goal when I played soccer so who knows if I am going to be the most help to her.

Happy Haloween

We had a great time trick or treating with the girls this Halloween.  They loved the idea of going to peoples doors to get candy.  Addison decided last minute she wanted to be a cat and so we went with the cat theme this year.  We were going to have two Disney princesses, but I guess that is just not too exciting when you are a Disney princess every other day of the week :)

Emery at work

Emery was sick this past week.  We ended up not having childcare and the girls had to go to work with me.  The first day Emery came with me while Addison went to school.  Emery was entertaining herself by giving Austin, Turtle, and Biscuit shots while I typed records and performed surgery :)  The last day both girls came to work.  Addison came into the surgery room after I had completed an involved surgical procedure.  She initially was frightened and then told me it was disgusting.  She went home that day and told her daddy, "Mommy did a bloody art project at work.........it was disgusting!!!"

Soccer game

Our little soccer star is really starting to enjoy the sport.  She's kicking the ball during games and we are still trying for that goal.

Emerys first haircut

Emery got her first haircut this past week.  She went to pigtails and crew cuts in Southlake.  Addison got her haircut too and helped her little sister be brave in her own chair.  The Popsicles and animal crackers helped too.
