Summers Birthday Party

 Summers birthday party was at an indoor bounce house place.  Uncle Rusty drove me and the girls to Houston with cousin Sarah.  The girls had a great time.

Getting more comfortable with soccer

Addison kicked the ball a couple times this past Monday night at her soccer game.  And she did a lot of smiling.  We are excited she is getting more comfortable with her team and the sport

 Addison went out on the soccer field and stayed by Coach Mikes side.  This is much progress.  We have been spending each practice in tears and staying by Mom or Dads side.  Addison is learning to enjoy soccer and maybe someday soon she will become confident enough to kick the ball.  At her first game, there were no tears and an occasional smile.  We are definitely showing progress!

 

 

Our cheer leaders, Meme, Uncle Andy, and Summer came in town and were able to attend Addison's first soccer game with of course Ryan, Emmy, and myself.

First Day of School

Addison and Emery started their first day of preschool yesterday.  Addison was a little nervous about meeting her new teacher and friends from her class.  Emery did great!  Her teachers said no tears and no potty accidents at school.  Emery was very quiet and shy at first, but the teachers thought she was nervous because some other children were crying when their moms dropped them off.

Emery no longer wants to wear diapers.  She is doing great with potty training and decided one day it was time.  The main challenge is getting her to wear other princesses than Cinderella

Biscuit belongs to the girls.  Addison likes to call him her college dog, because he will go to Texas A&M University with her when she goes to college :)  Whoop!!!

The girls have so much fun playing with each other.  Addison is the cautious type and Emery is more of the adventurous type.  Emery was climbing the curved ladder above and Addison ran up and said, "Emery that is dangerous!"  Emery replies, "Yeah!!!" and continued to climb.

We are struggling with confidence issues with our new sport......soccer.  Addison is getting more excited and confident every time she goes out and kicks the ball around.  We'll see how practice goes this week.  Here is a video of her dribbling the ball down the field and scoring a goal :)

 Addison and Emery are really enjoying the pool this summer.

Emery likes to play, but is not much into actually swimming this summer.  Swim lessons will start up again in December for her.
