Emery at work

Emery was sick this past week.  We ended up not having childcare and the girls had to go to work with me.  The first day Emery came with me while Addison went to school.  Emery was entertaining herself by giving Austin, Turtle, and Biscuit shots while I typed records and performed surgery :)  The last day both girls came to work.  Addison came into the surgery room after I had completed an involved surgical procedure.  She initially was frightened and then told me it was disgusting.  She went home that day and told her daddy, "Mommy did a bloody art project at work.........it was disgusting!!!"

Soccer game

Our little soccer star is really starting to enjoy the sport.  She's kicking the ball during games and we are still trying for that goal.

Emerys first haircut

Emery got her first haircut this past week.  She went to pigtails and crew cuts in Southlake.  Addison got her haircut too and helped her little sister be brave in her own chair.  The Popsicles and animal crackers helped too.

San Antonio CE and Emerys birthday

Ryan and the girls met me in San Antonio towards the end of my conference.  We got to ride the river boat and walk the river walk the first night.  Addison was very excited about the boat ride

We took a walk on the river walk for ice cream for Emery's birthday.  It was a rainy trip.  At this time Ryan and I were wondering our travel luck.  Hurricane in Bahamas, overcast in Alabama, and a rainy weekend in San Antonio

Meme and Papa came in town that evening.  Emery got to open her presents in the hotel.  The girls loved running back and forth between ours and Meme and Papas room on the 19th floor of the Marriott

We went hiking on the trails in Westlake with Uncle Rusty, Aunt Sandra, and the girls.  It was a long hike to the lake and the girls required some carrying, but it was a good time by all.

Emery enjoys making a mess of the bathroom when unattended.  She requests that we leave her alone when going potty.  This is what we return  to find.
