Alfie, Wally, and Austin hanging out. Wally is Alfie and Erin's dog. They also have another boxer named Boston. Boston and Austin hit it off at the dog park in Oklahoma City and are responsible for us meeting. We would meet at the dog park in Oklahoma a couple times a week and let the dogs play. We miss you guys and really want you to move to Texas!!!
Picture of our good friends, Alfie and Erin, holding Addison. Alfie and Erin are friends we met in Oklahoma. When they come to visit we try hard to show them why Texas is a more suitable place to live for cool people like themselves :) I think this last visit to Central Market almost got Erin convinced.
This is how Addison passes time while I am working on the blog. She hangs out on a tummy time lily pad on the desk next to me. The doctor says to give her "tummy time" as much as possible when she is awake. Addison's favorite game is to be awake and immediately after I put her on her tummy......she falls asleep. So much for good quality tummy time :)
Mom, Turtle, and Austin baby sitting Addison. Mom came to Dallas the first week after Addison was born and took care of us all. She cleaned the whole house and set up for a baby shower we were throwing for Megan on Saturday (8 days after Addison was born). She also cooked tons of great food which Ryan and I are missing dearly now :) Love you MOM
Boomer, Austin, and Turtle meet their new sister
Introducing the puppies to their new sister was a process everyone was a little concerned about. Anyone that knows them is aware that Boomer, Austin, and Turtle are spoiled, very much loved, and not used to sharing their parents attention. Addison was greeted first by Boomer while Austin and Turtle were outside with me. Boomer sniffed Addison and then went about greeting Ryan for being home after a long weekend. Austin then was allowed to come inside and meet Addison. Austin planted himself on my lap and displayed a little bit of jealousy. After Austin learned to give Addison her space (somewhat :)), Turtle was then let in to meet her. Turtle sniffed Addison from a distance and then went about her way. Turtle has proved herself to be the least pushy with regards to getting into Addison's space, but all in all they are doing as well as we could expect. Austin is Addison's biggest fan :) During this whole process, Mimi Speed had to leave the house because she was a little too nervous about her precious little grand baby being greeted by three somewhat large snouts.

Sherry was a lifesaver throughout the whole delivery day and hospital stay. She started off by answering my phone call at 7:30a, when I was concerned my water had broke. She informed me that infact it had and insisted that we head to the hospital. She then took care of our other babies (Boomer, Austin, and Turtle) and came to the hospital. At the hospital, she helped me and Ryan watch the clock while the horrible pains of torture (also known as contractions) continued until we could be taken in for the c-section. Sherry was also the one whom we can all thank for all these photos because Ryan and I did not think to pack a camera or anything for that matter :) If all that was not enough, Sherry went out and bought Preemie clothes for Addison since we had none in her size :) Sherry is the BEST!!!!
